Joe Wiley Tidwell, Jr, age 78, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2010. Born in Lawrenceburg TN, on Oct 8, 1931, he was the son of Joe and Grace Tidwell. Joe was preceded in death by his wife, Laura, in Dec 2004. He is survived by his daughter Linda Yelvington and her husband Cliff; his daughter Tuleta Copeland; his son, Joe Tidwell and his wife Sharon; and his grandchildren Katy Grimes, Grace Tidwell, Laura Tidwell, Joe Tidwell, and Audrey Tidwell. Joe lived a life dedicated to work and service. A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the U.S. Air Force. Before retiring in 2009, Joe worked for TMI ” The Episcopal School of Texas. A Christian, as well as an Episcopalian, both he and his wife believed strongly in the work of the church. Joe was a member of St Helena”s Episcopal Church in Boerne.
