Joe Todd of Cohutta, Georgia passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 10, 2019. Joe was 65 years old and he was born on November 16, 1953. Joe’s parents, H.R. “Bill” and Oma Todd and one brother, Hank Todd preceded him in death. Joe worked at Windstream almost 46 years. Joe became a beloved part of so many people in the Dalton area, but none more than his family. Joe’s wife, children, and grandchildren is what he lived for. Joe’s favorite time was “anytime” with his family. A husband, father and Papaw could not be loved more. He is survived by his wife, Karen Todd of Cohutta; daughters and their spouses, Amanda and Reginald Tripp of Dalton, Samantha and Ashley Haley of Marietta; brothers and sister in law, Wallace Todd of Cleveland, TN, Chuck and Karen Todd of Cohutta; sister, Judy Buchanan and partner Jack Cheek of Tennessee; grandchildren, Carter Tripp, Alivia Tripp, Nixon Haley, Asa Haley; nieces and nephews, Robbin and Eddie Tankersley of Cohutta, Billy and Michelle Todd of Cohutta, Tony Todd of Ringgold, Christy Williams; aunts and uncles, Ira and Carol Foster of Denton, TX, Deverda Farr of Atlanta, Elizabeth Whiteside of Dalton, Johnson and Sharon Foster of Blue Ridge; and brothers and sisters in law along with several great nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
