Joe Stamey Parker, age 87 passed away February 3, 2019 surrounded by family and friends at the home of his niece Mary Anne and her husband Jim Rudisill. Joe was the son of the late Thomas B. and Mary E. Lampley Parker. Mr Parker was a talented mechanic and had a deep love for farming. He was a veteran in the United States Army. He was a life long member of St. Matthews United Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents Mr. Parker is preceded in death by his siblings, Loreine Parker, Alice Parker Seagle, Ruth Parker, Thomas B. Parker, Jr., and Robert E. Parker.
Mr. Parker is survived by nieces and nephews, Mark Parker, Mary Anne Rudisill, Ben Parker, John Parker, Bobby Parker and Susan Parker.
