Joe Rodriguez, Sr., 97, passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2007 in Socorro. He was born on April 4, 1910 in Balmorhea, Texas to Fernando and Maria (Acosta) Rodriguez. Joe worked for Land Air, Inc. in the 1960’s as a photographer, photographing test track runs.
Survivors include, sons, Joe Rodriguez and wife Betty Jean of Socorro, Gliserio Rodriguez and wife Margaret of Roswell; sister, Julie Smith; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Agueda Rodriguez; mother, Maria; father, Fernando; and sister, Donna Sue Rodriguez.
A Rosary will be recited by Deacon Don Dickman at 7:00 P.M. on Wednesday, July 11, 2007 at Our Lady or the Light Catholic Church.
