Joe Morgan Clair, 84, passed away on Mon., June 10, 2013 at Ft. Walton Beach Medical Center after a brief illness.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio, Aug 19, 1928 to the late Joseph P. and Bessie M. Clair. He attended Atlanta schools and graduated from Russell High School, East Point, GA. Afterward, he joined the Marines, serving in Japan and China during WWII. He was employed with United Refrigeration and retired from Charlotte, NC in 1990. His retirement years were spent in Shalimar, FL where he was an avid golfer.
He was predeceased by his parents and sister, Carolyn C. Hollingsworth. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Edna Boyett Clair; sister-in-law, June B. Bunn and son Greg of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and several nieces and nephews.
