Joe Frank Maddox, age 76, passed away peacefully at his home in Pinson, Alabama on Monday, May 9, 2016. He was born in Bankston, AL and graduated from Woodlawn High School in Birmingham, then attended Auburn University and UAH. His 45 year career consisted of supporting the Saturn Program and Space Shuttle Program at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville as a contractor with United Space Alliance, Boeing, Rockwell and RCA. Joe loved fishing and attentively watched over all of his pets. Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Tollie, his wife, Sarah Maddox and his stepsons, Tim and Michael McMurray. Joe is survived by his daughter, Cindy Maze; stepdaughters, Rene Martin, Regina Pexton and Ramona McMurray.
