Joe “Frank” McKenzie, age 76, of Newnan passed away Monday, September 21, 2020 at Piedmont Fayette Hospital. Mr. McKenzie was born on October 25, 1943 in Heard County to the late Bill G. “Pete” McKenzie and the late Allene “Allen” McKenzie. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Glenn McKenzie and Jim McKenzie. He is survived by his loving wife Jennie “Dianne” Duke McKenzie; children, Robbin (David) Smith, JoAnne (Paul) Hardegree, and Cindy (Greg) Thompson; grandchildren, Philip (Kaylee) Plouffe, Elizabeth Plouffe, Charlie Bunn, Nicholas Bunn, Brantley (Lauren) Hardegree, Devon Hardegree, Meagan Thompson, Sarah Thompson, and Madison Thompson; nine great grandchildren and siblings, Gordon (Jan) McKenzie, Larry (Charlotte) McKenzie, Bill (Bea) McKenzie, Susie (Terry) Patterson, and Jane (Gene) McKenzie Tully.
