Joe Ellis Lockridge NORTHPORT | Joe Ellis Lockridge, age 80, of Northport, passed away September 6, 2015, at DCH Regional Medical Center, after a battle with lung cancer. He was preceded in death by his parents, W.E. and Eva Swords Lockridge and brother, Bill Lockridge. Survivors include his loving wife of 50 years, Beverly Calhoun Lockridge (In his words, Bev was the best thing that ever happened to me.”); sons, Brian and Brad Lockridge; sister, Betty Rowell; brother, James Lockridge; and his extended family, the Calhouns, whom he loved dearly.
