Jody Walter Hickman, age 62, of Palestine, was called home to his home in heaven on Thursday, the 18th day of June 2020. He was born on the 5th day of April 1958, in Texas City, Texas, to Walter Oliver Hickman and Ramona B. Ray.
Jody was a soft-spoken person with a big heart. He was a very loving and caring person who enjoyed helping others. Jody enjoyed the great outdoors and working on old trucks.
He is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Ramona Hickman.
Jody is survived by his loving wife, Linda Hickman; stepdaughters, Laura Arnold, Laura Ruef and husband Dan; stepson, Jason Arnold; sister, Lana Hickman Raymond and husband Keith of Florida; nephews, Travis Raymond and Randy Raymond. Jody is also survived by his step-granddaughter Brianna Ruef and numerous family and friends.
