He was a member of Grace Baptist Chruch, Teamsters Local #89, and an Army vetern of World War II.
He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Garmon (Donnie); sons, Jodie Burgin Jr. (Debbie), George Burgin; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
