Jocelyn was born in Port-of-Spain Trinidad. She came to the USA in pursuit of a better life for herself and her children. She became a second mother to many. She had an open door and feed many of her children’s friends. She is survived by her husband of over 40 years – Herbert Walcott, her six children- Margaret Thompson, Terrance Marshall, Donna Walcott, Yvette Turner, Wayne Walcott, Abigail Walcott and her Step Daughter – Carroll Richie, 9 grandchildren – the late Andre Steed, Terrance Marshall, Jr., Devon Hughes, Remy Walcott, Kristian Turner, Jelisha Walcott, Afriyie Turner, Shanice Walcott, Jada Hughes & Kahari Walcott, 3 Son in Laws- Kirby Turner, Winston Stanford & Michael Thompson and a daughter in law, Dorothy Walcott. She also survived by her 6 Sisters – Yvonne Marshall, Cynthia Taylor, Gloria Robinson, Maize Blackman, Melvina Brorman, Janet Marshall and a brother Maxfield Marshall. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews and many close friends.
