JOANNE PRUZIN (NEE SZLANDA)age 76, of Highland, passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2016.
Joanne is survived by her loving children, Steven (Cathy) Pruzin of Friendswood, TX and Robert J. (Susanne) Pruzin Sr. of Chesterton; precious grandchildren, Robert Jr. and Ava; brother, Raymond (Carol) Szlanda of Hastings, NE; brother in law Jack (Sharon) Pruzin; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert E. Pruzin; parents, Frank and Wanda Szlanda.
She retired as a nurse from Community Hospital, working for Dr. Corse and Dr. Benchik. Joanne was on the Highland Council of Community Events. She loved being with her grandchildren and traveling. Joanne was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be dearly missed.
