JoAnne Martinez, 69, of Bethlehem died peacefully Friday, October 28, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones. She was the widow of Francis L. Martinez who died in 2012. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Althea (Stoudt) Noga. A graduate of Dieruff High School, JoAnne was a talented seamstress who worked for several textile mills in the Lehigh Valley. She also owned and operated The Linden Hotel, Allentown alongside her husband for over 20 years until retiring in the late 1990’s. One of JoAnne’s favorite past times was shopping. She couldn’t pass up a good bargain. She enjoyed hiking with her family and was a great dancer. She was a devoted wife and mother and treasured her 3 grandchildren.
Survivors: Daughters, Heather wife of Christian Hughes of York and Megan Martinez at home; beloved grandchildren, Tiarnan Hughes, Cianan Hughes and Caelan Hughes. She was predeceased by her brother, Anthony Noga and her sister, Helene Miller.
