Joanne M. (D’Antoni) Piscano, of Boca Raton, Florida, formerly of Monroe, New York, entered into heaven on Saturday, August 20, 2022. She was 81 years old.
The daughter of the late Marie (Sabia) and Louis D’Antoni, Joanne was born on February 9, 1941 in Bronx, New York. She married the love her of her life, husband James Piscano, on September 7, 1963. They were married for almost 59 years.
Joanne is survived by her husband; her 3 children, daughter Donna Valentini (Louis), of Monroe, New York, son James Piscano (Kathy) of Alpharetta, Georgia, and son David Piscano (Rhea) of Deerfield Beach, Florida; her 4 grandchildren, Amanda and Matthew Valentini and Michael and Olivia Piscano; her sister and brother-in-law, Doris and William Formosa; her brother, Peter D’Antoni; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Joanne was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She adored her grandchildren and tried not to miss any of their sporting events, school activities and milestones. She was an amazing cook and baker, always trying new recipes for her family. She earned an Associate’s Degree while working full time at Georgia Pacific in Warwick, NY.
Joanne’s family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to Trustbridge Hospice Center (Hospice by the Sea) of Boca Raton, Florida, for making her comfortable in her final days.
