Joanne F. Stiles, 82, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 27, 2016, at Westminster Village in Allentown. She was the wife of the late Arthur H. “Boomie” Stiles, who passed away on September 26, 2006.
Born in Bethlehem Twp., she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Irene (Coleman) Farrell. Joanne was a graduate of Liberty High School. She worked for the Bethlehem Steel, and later worked for First Valley Bank for 20 years, until retiring in 1996. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Bethlehem. Joanne was an avid bowler, who bowled in the AFLCIO League and also at Town and Country Lanes. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed going to the Casino.
Survivors: sons David A. Stiles and wife Sally of Northampton, Craig J. Stiles and wife Judith of Bethlehem; daughter Kathleen A. Clewell and husband Jeff of Macungie; grandchildren Sonya, Matthew, Jon, and Evan; great-grandchildren Ian and Adrian; son in law Ronald Messina of Richmond, VA; nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter Patricia Messina in 2012, and her brother Andrew Farrell in 2015.
