Joanne (Mohler) Crouch, 86, of Oaklandon, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014 in Lafayette, Indiana. She was born January 3, 1928 in Oaklandon, IN to the late Leslie and Helen (Stone) Mohler. Joanne was the receptionist/bookkeeper for Dr. Harry T. Henlsey for 22 years and retired in 1992. She was a member of Outlook Christian Church, where she had been active in the Women’s Circle and the Retirees Group. Joanne was a good Christian woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and would help anyone who needed it.
She is survived by a daughter, Debbie (Bob) Combs of Mulberry, IN; son, Larry (Rita) Crouch of Franklin, TN; grandsons, Jason Crouch of Naples, FL and Leslie (Wendy) Crouch of Franklin, TN; granddaughter Jennie (Andrew) Butler of Martinsville; grandson Ian Combs of West Lafayette; and granddaughter Dani Combs of Mulberry, IN; 5 great-grandsons: Carson, Elijah, Joshua and David Crouch and Liam Butler; and former granddaughter-in-law Chrissy Crouch of Maryville, TN. Joanne was preceded in death by her husband Harry L. “Curly” Crouch in 2006.
