Joanne Christine Campbell passed from this life on August 20, 2022. She was very committed to her life with Jesus walking by her side. She loved gardening, her dogs, and her family. She was a very dedicated mother who committed her time and energy to her children. She was born and raised in Kansas City, MO but loved the mountains so much that she retired and moved to Colorado where she was surrounded by mountains with a view of Pike’s Peak.
Joanne leaves behind two sisters, Marsha Blackburn and Jeanne Brown; four children, Diana (Mark) Miller, Natalie (Doug) Freeman, Nick (Shannon) Romito, and David (Julie) Campbell; 15 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, E.J. and Maxine Petersen; siblings, Patrica (Paul) Vercio, Jimmy Petersen, Dana Beagle, and Johnny Petersen.
She was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed. We all take comfort in knowing she is pain free and enjoying time with her heavenly father.
