Joanna Lee Bond, age 72, passed away August 19, 2018 in Battle Creek, MI. Joanna was born July 11, 1946 in Kalamazoo, the daughter of Frederick and Viola (Osborn) Randall. She was a lifelong area resident and was a member of the Temple Baptist Church. Throughout the years she was employed with Schwartz’s Restaurant and DesignWare from which she retired.
Joanna was united in marriage to Kenneth Ray Bond, who preceded her in death on August 5, 2002. She was also preceded in death by her parents and by sisters Virginia Pierce, Mildred Henson and Pearl Richter. Surviving are her daughter Jennifer (Ryan) VanOosten; two grandchildren Avery and Addison; three sisters Ruth Proctor, Lorraine Young and Betty (Leonard) Blake; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
