Joanna Bryant, 61, of Salem, Arkansas, passed away, Saturday, December 4, 2021, in Little Rock, Arkansas.
She was born in Kansas City, Missouri on January 19, 1960, daughter of the late Harvey Leeland and Mildred Lucy (Miller) Bryant. Joanna spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Joanna worked in the kitchen and dining room at Southfork Therapy and Living Center in Salem and enjoyed her job. She had a servant’s heart and was a member of Salem Assembly of God Church. Joanna loved to go shopping and going out to eat. She especially loved root beer floats.
Joanna is survived by her sons, Shaun Lee Gillespie of Salem, Arkansas and Joseph Lee Gillespie (Molly) of Peculiar, Missouri; daughter, Amanda Marie Gillespie of Salem, Arkansas; sisters, Carolyn Sue Smith of Archie, Missouri, Rosemary Elaine Trombly of Salem, Arkansas, Jeanett Yvonne Stuart (Darrell) of Salem, Arkansas and Roberta Ann Nichols (Roger) of Harrison, Arkansas and grandchildren, Conner, Elizabeth, Corey, Kaleb, Elijah and Dezaray Joanna.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Mildred Bryant; brother, Bradley Lee Bryant; brothers-in-law, Bob Smith, Douglas John Baganz and Wardin Trombly and nieces, Lorene Woody and Sarah Hatfield; nephew, Stephen Jacobson and little Stephen Jacobson.
