Joann Sylvia Escobedo, 76, of Pueblo, Colorado passed away on January 16, 2022. “I have fought the finefight, I have run the race to the finish.” (2 Timothy 4:7) Joann was born on September 23, 1945 in Denver Colorado to Sam and Marcita Diaz. She was a faithful servant of Jehovah God, dedicating her life by baptism in 1958. Joann loved her ministry, her family, and was always loving, kind and generous with a feisty sense of humor, and served as an excellent example to everyone by her faith and endurance. She graduated from Central High School in 1965, and lived in Pueblo for most of her life, while being a long time resident of Life Care Center of Pueblo. Joann is preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Marcita Diaz, brother LarryDiaz, sister Maryann Segura, and daughter SylviaMarcie Escobedo. She is survived by her two children, Ray (Alma) Escobedo, and Caroline (Jason) Solano.  Her five grandchildren, Johnny (Marissa) Escobedo, Sylvia (Sean) Trinklein, Alisha (Josh) Romero, Ryan (Kimberly) Solano, and Anakin (Olivia) Solano.  Seven great-grandchildren, Arria, Scarlett, Airadessa, Violett, Kara, Juliett, and Maverick.  Siblings, Sam Jr. (Susan) Diaz, Rosalee (Manuel) Cornejo, Theodore (Myrna) Diaz, and Debra (Abelino) Aragon. Joann will be dearly missed by her numerous family and friends who loved her tremendously.
