Joann R. VanWinkle, 40, of Peoria Heights, passed away unexpectantly on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at her residence. She was born on April 24, 1974 in Aurora, IL to George R. and Karen K. (Hirsch) VanWinkle.
Surviving are her parents of Germantown Hills, sister Erica (Dr. Tony) Moravec of Wahoo, NE; grandmother Gertrude Hirsch of Columbus, OH; nieces and nephews Wyatt, Macy, Quinn, Levi and Nate Moravec; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents George and Irene VanWinkle; maternal grandfather Keith Hirsch; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and one infant nephew Brody Moravec.
Joann worked at CEFCU in records for 14 years.
