Born on December 12, 1931 in Taft, California to Harlan and Evelyn Lingo, JoAnn Marie Munding, age 86, died in Reno, Nevada on January 7, 2017 after a brief illness. JoAnn worked for many years as a teacher for ARC in Long Beach, California. She then retired and moved to Lone Pine, California where she had a love of family, wildlife, animals and an appreciation of painting and art. She was preceded in death by her husband, John H. Munding and her loving son, John C. Munding. Her survivors include her daughter, Carol Pino-Williams and her husband, Dan, of Lone Pine, California; her granddaughters, Jennifer Olin and husband, Jason, of Lone Pine, CA, Elizabeth Pino and husband, Justin Kock of Los Angeles, CA, Patricia Ibarra and husband, Fabio, of San Pedro, CA, and Alexandra Bartlett, of Lone Pine, CA; also six great-grandchildren; and her friend and partner, Carlton “Buck” Grace.
