Joann Marie Eheler, 85, of Great Falls, MT, formally of Albany OR, had an untimely passing on Tuesday, November 1, 2016 of natural causes.
Joann was born on January 26, 1931 to parents Charles and Ida (Salt) Cummins in Seattle, WA. She lived a very full and colorful life. She raised her children in Great Falls until moving to the Albany/Corvallis area in 1968. Shortly after her arrival she began working at Smoke Craft in Albany where she remained until she retired in 1996. During this time, she married James Lovell and lived with him in Peoria until his passing in 1977. After Joann’s retirement, she reconnected with an old friend in Great Falls, Ace Eheler. In 1999, she moved back to Great Falls where she and Ace married.
Joann Loved her knitting, crocheting, playing piano and organ. In the 1970’s she had won many awards for her Organ playing. Joann loved her family and most of all loved her grandchildren. She loved teaching her grandchildren culture and flower names and much about nature. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her son, Steven (Barbara) Crouch of Great Falls; daughter, Diana Fisher of Great Falls; step son, Roy Eheler (Carol); grandchildren, Shara Burris(Billy) and Erick Marsh(Chrissy) of Albany, Robert Crouch of Shedd, Russel Fisher(Jennifer) of Phoenix, Arizona, and Ricky Fisher of Great Falls and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, George R. Marsh Jr.; husbands, James Lovell and Ace Eheler.
