Joann Knowles Burns, 86, of Ringgold, Georgia went home to be with the Lord Sunday June 26, 2016 at her home. She was born in Tallassee, Alabama and lived most of her life in Montgomery, Alabama before moving to Ringgold in 2001.
Survivors include children, David (Susie) Burns and Lydia (David) Babb; grandchildren, Anna Burns (Sean) Phillips, Amanda Babb (Adam) Hare, Sarah Elizabeth Burns, Phillip Knowles Burns, and Andrew (Afton) Babb; great-grandchildren, August, Jude and Layla Hare; and sister, Frances Knowles Groves
