Joann Knight Chipman passed away on October 17, 2015. She was born on April 4, 1930 in Lehi, Utah to Noel Guild Knight and Cleo Ruth Davis.
Joann grew up in Salt Lake, in Park City and in Lehi before moving to American Fork, Utah in her teenage years.
She met Richard Chipman in high school and they were married on August 11, 1949 in the Idaho Falls LDS temple. Richard died in February 2007.
Richard and Joann lived in Salt Lake City, in Spokane, Washington, and in Wenatchee, Washington before moving to Boise in 1977.
Joann moved from her home of 34 years to the Salmon Creek condominiums in 2011.
Joann is survived by her brother, Davis Knight (Michelle) of American Fork, Utah; her sister-in-law, Irene West of Highland, Utah; daughter, Pamela C. Frye (Len) of Reno, Nevada; son, Brent Chipman (Barbara) of Salt Lake City, Utah; daughter, Kathryn Jones (Tom) of Moses Lake, Washington and son, Rian (Vivian) Chipman of Boise, Idaho.
Joann has 22 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
