JoAnn Goodrich Walker

WEST HAVEN, UT – JoAnn Goodrich Walker, 78, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2015 at Heritage Park Care Center in Roy, Utah.

She was born December 19, 1936 in Roosevelt, Utah to Leonard Alfred and Clara Hazel Stevenson Goodrich.

JoAnn married Keith Alan Walker on June 1, 1962 in the Salt Lake Temple.

JoAnn lived in BlueBell, Provo, Salt Lake City, Clearfield, West Haven, Utah and Vancouver, WA; Boulder, CO; Camphill, PA; and Lakewood, CO.
She attended BlueBell Elementary, Altamont High School and graduated from BYU in business.

JoAnn was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served as Primary President, Relief Society Counselor, Cub Scout Den Mother, Music Chorister and many teaching callings.

She worked for Hill Air Force Base and was a high school teacher at Altamont High School, and a member of the PTA in Lakewood, CO.

JoAnn loved gardening, herbs, singing, piano, theater, journal keeping, cooking, church road shows, bowling-leagues, camping, traveling, and anything her children were involved in. She also sang at a very young age at many civic and church parties and meetings. She was a favorite at military farewell and homecoming events.

She is survived by her husband, Keith Alan Walker, sons, Eric Lee Walker, Kevin Keith Walker, and daughter, Marissa Elena Walker, brothers, Drew Goodrich and Morris Dee Goodrich, and 11 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard Alfred and Clara Hazel Stevenson Goodrich, children, Lisa Ann and Rachel Mariana.
