Joann C. DuBois Lopez, 67, of Great Falls, passed away from heart failure, January 11, 2016 at Benefis.
Joann was born in Ft. Belknap, Montana on July 9, 1948 to Joseph Frances LeDeau and Elsie Myrtle Boushie.
Joann was a great mother and grandmother. She enjoyed having her family around daily, especially when it came to cooking for family get togethers. She absolutely loved her grandchildren they could do no harm in her eyes. Joann enjoyed watching her favorite game shows and soap operas, if she wasn’t doing that, she was playing cards or doing word search puzzles in her favorite chair by the window. She also loved going to the casino to try her luck.
Joann is survived by her children; daughters, Jennifer LeDeau of Box Elder, MT, Joleen LeDeau and Joy DuBois, both of Billings, MT, Janene LeDeau, Jamie (Dewey) Flying, Janelle and Jodi DuBois, all of Great Falls, MT; her sons, Jeffery Lopez of Lewistown, Jesse, Jarrod and Jordan Lopez all of Great Falls, MT; thirty-eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; her siblings, Lady LeDeau, Wilma Lopez, Rose Sorenson, Billy LeDeau and Martin LeDeau; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Elsie LeDeau; brothers, James and Norman LeDeau; her loving husband, James Lopez Jr.; her son, Mark Lopez; and her granddaughter Rikki Rae LeDeau.
