Joanie M. Miller, 75, of Washington, passed away on October 6, 2017 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.
She was born on November 11, 1941 in Peoria, IL, the daughter of Carl and Cecil McIntyre Lowman. She married Leroy Miller on June 24, 1962 in Peoria, IL. Joanie and Roy were happily married for 55 years and he survives.
Also surviving is her brother Michael D. McIntyre (Jennifer) Lowman of Las Vegas, NV. Joanie was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Mildred and Penny, four brothers Bill, Don, Joe and Earl.
Joanie was employed for 34 years at Illinois Bell/Ameritech Telephone Co. retiring June 24, 1994.
Joanie adored her precious Pomeranian “Baby”.
