Joan Young, 85, passed away at Rockledge Regional Medical Center on Saturday
September 26, 2020, after a prolonged illness, to be with her loving Lord.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jim and their 5 children, David and his wife
Pam, Conesus, NY, Douglas and his wife Darcy, Geneseo, NY, Michael and his wife
Diane, Phoenix, AZ, Coleen and her husband Neil, Orlando, FL and Diane Young,
Panama, NY, She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her daughter Patti and son Dan.
She will be deeply missed by her entire family that loved and cherished her and by so
many others whose lives she touched.
In addition to her many years of devoting her love to her family, she was also employed
In banking in NY and in hospitality with Marriott after relocating to Orlando, FL in 1985
ministries, over the years, wherever she lived. She was deeply committed to the
marriage ministry and faithfully served countless couples for nearly 4 decades.
Her infectious laugh often stemmed from the joy in her heart caused by the love she
had for her Lord.
She and her husband became members of St. John the Evangelist parish when it was
initially established.
