Joan R. Gunderson, 72, of Bartonville, IL, passed away at 3:49 am on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Unity Point Health-Methodist in Peoria. She was born on November 22, 1949 in Peoria, IL to Lawrence and Betty (Hodel) Trotter. She married Robert “Bob” Gunderson on October 10, 1992 in Peoria.
Surviving are her husband, Bob of Bartonville; daughters, Kimberlee (Rick) Mills of Cleveland, OH and Diana Gunderson of Los Angeles, CA; grandsons, Cameron and Connor Mills; brothers, Dale (Diane) Trotter of Hanna City, IL and Larry (Stephanie) Trotter of Youngsville, NC; and seven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Joan was a second grade teacher at Norwood Primary School for thirty-five years.
