Joan Natalie Marak, age 82, of Stromsburg, Nebraska, passed away January 2, 2020 at Annie Jeffrey Memorial County Health Center in Osceola, Nebraska.
Joan was born January 23, 1937 to Raymond John and Natalie Eloise (Richards) Rech in Osceola, Nebraska. She graduated from Osceola High School in 1954.
She was united in marriage to Milton Marak in David City on July 1, 1956. To this union two children were born. They lived in David City for one year and Durant for one year before building a home north of Stromsburg. After her children were raised she attended Nebraska Wesleyan, where she received her Masters Degree in Nursing. She was a homemaker and farm wife.
Survivors include her husband Milton of Stromsburg; one son Ted of Stromsburg; and one daughter Melody (Brian) Finn of Tigard, Oregon; two grandchildren, Patrick and Anna Finn.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
