Joan M. Wiott, age 74, of Arizona, formerly of Roselawn, IN passed away at Copper Creek Inn Memory Care in Chandler, AZ on Wednesday, December 27, 2017.
She was born December 16, 1943 in Ohio to Earl and Alvara (Park) Phillips. Joan attended Jackson-Milton High School in Youngstown, Ohio. She married the love of her life, William J. Wiott on September 12, 1968 in Jasper County. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2011.
Joan was a secretary for a realty company and a clerk at the IGA in Roselawn before she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her family and reading. Joan is survived by her children: William J. (Stephanie) Wiott of Carmel, IN; Earl (Ashley) Wiott of Gilbert, AZ; Melinda (Shane) Storey of Morocco, IN; 7 grandchildren; and sister, Dorothy (Clyde) Lay of Newton Falls, OH. Joan was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
