Joan L. (Williams) O’Dell, 80, of Natick, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2018, in the MetroWest Medical Center- Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick.
Born and raised in Southborough, she was the daughter of the late John and Mirdza (Keelcen) Williams.
Joan attended Peters High School in Southborough, Drury High School in North Adams, MA., and graduated from the nursing program at Keefe Technical High School in Framingham.
Prior to retirement, Ms. O’Dell was employed as a charge nurse at the Winter Gables Nursing Home and most recently at the Edgell Rest Home in Framingham before retiring in 2002.
Ms. O’Dell is survived by four children, Peggy Zwang and her husband, Harry Pendergast, of Webster, Daniel O’Dell and his wife, Joan, of Natick, Tracey O’Dell and her husband, James Oakes, of Sutton, and Brenda Castagna and her husband, Robert, of Hopedale; 13 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren.
She is predeceased by three children, Joan O’Dell, Eugene O’Dell and Sandra Colbeth; and her three brothers, John, Ralph and Richard Williams.
