Joan Hawkins, age 70, of Dalton, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015. She was born January 1, 1945. Joan is preceded in death by her husband of 52 years who was the love of her life, Donald Lee Hawkins; parents, Amos and Elizabeth Davis; brother, Bill Davis; and a sister, Diane Davis.
Joan is survived by her son and daughter in law, Donald and Wendy Hawkins of Varnell; daughter, Tammy Townsend of Dalton; brother, Leon Davis; grandchildren, Brandon and Ryan Townsend, Hannah, Breanna and Isaiah Hawkins; several nieces and nephews; and our very extended adoptive family over the years who we love and cherish.
