Joan H Davis, blessed this earth August 24, 1943, but left us too early on January 11, 2022. Joan, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many. She shined brightly and lit up any room she walked into.
She is survived by her three sons, Claude E (Mary), Michael (Karen), and Lyle (Mollie) Davis, her grandchildren Claude W, Victoria, Zach, Tyler, Jared, Kya, Nicole, Cynthya, Kristina, Carly, and Ryan, her brothers Earl Utter and Robert (Linda) Utter, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband (Claude R) and parents (Earl Sr. and Josephine Utter).
Joan was retired from the Department of Public Works (DPW) as a custodian in the adult care center in Liberty, NY. Previously, she worked as a housekeeper at the Edgewood Inn.
Joan is someone that never hesitated to help anyone, and was there when you needed her, a grandmother that everyone deserved. Soon to be great grandmother to Amelia. She made the best dang chocolate chip cookies this side of the Willowemoc.
