Joanie’s first love was always her family. She loved her husband and son above all else. She was a devoted mother and wife and took great joy in all of her son, Tyler’s activities. One of her biggest joys in life was music; she and Gary went to as many concerts and music festival as they could. Joanie loved all music but her favorite musician was Bob Marley. She was very involved in her extended family and enjoyed being a part of all of the different family occasions.

Joanie and Gary loved cooking and had a very well stocked kitchen. When Gary and Joanie cooked you a meal – it was gourmet. They loved to try out new recipes that they found in magazines.

She loved animals – from the very beginning of their marriage they had at least one pet all the time. Her current pets are Roscoe her bloodhound and Petey her Bassett hound.
