Joan Elizabeth Longworth, 77, of Portland, wife of the late Robert S. Longworth, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, November 26th at Middlesex Hospital. Born in Middletown, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Bertha (Treat) Robinson. Joan grew up in East Haddam and briefly taught at Sedgwick Middle School in West Hartford.
