Joan McGee went home to be with her Lord and Savior on July 5, 2021. She was a wonderful wife, adored mother, and precious grandmother. Her love for the Lord was evident in her daily walk. She touched the lives of all who knew her with her sweet spirit. Her mission field was the canteen at U.S. Sugar where she cooked and ministered for 22 years while raising eight children and one grandchild.
Joan was preceded in death by her beloved son, Marvin Dwaine McGee.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Jimmie McGee, of Clewiston; brothers, Marvin and Arland Woodham, both of Okeechobee; sons, Bart McGee (Tanda), of Okeechobee, Chris McGee (Gloria), of Moore Haven, Allen McGee, of Ft. Myers, Bret McGee (Cheryl), of Moore Haven, and Brad McGee, of Clewiston; daughters, Catherine Johnson (Bruce) and Rhonda Iglesias (Ramon), all of Clewiston; 16 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.
