Joan Dauphin Wessling of Omaha AR, died at home at the age of 86 on December 3, 2021. 

Joan was born in Wilmington, DE on April 3, 1935, to Paul Thomas (Sr.) and Catherine (Dolan) Dauphin.  

She was preceded in death by her parents Paul Thomas Dauphin Sr., and Catherine Dolan Dauphin, her brother Paul T. Dauphin Jr. and her sister Teresa C. Dauphin, and two children Bernadette and Donald Wessling. 

She is survived by her daughters, Anita Wessling of Arkansas, Brenda Wessling of Georgia, Cynthia Richmond (Dale) of Ohio, Diana Wessling of Delaware, Elaine Kucharski (Joe) of Delaware and Felicia Emory (Mike) of Delaware; her grandchildren, Tricia Nicolosi (Paul), Traci Smith, Todd Barrington (Becca), Johnathan Richmond (Nicole), Jerry Richmond. Elizabeth Smrdel (Eric), Paul Wessling (Bonnie), Joey Kucharski, Matthew Kucharski, Bradley Emory and Andrew Emory; and her great grandchildren, MaKayla, Dylan, Jordyn, Aiden, Ashton, Ava, Audrey, Elsa, Faith, Lilly, Rose, Penelope and Harlyn.  Also, survived by her sister in-law Casey Dauphin and niece Donna Dauphin.

Joan retired from General Motors.  After retiring she worked as a CNA and unit clerk at Cokesbury Village in Delaware and as a librarian at Harrison Public Library in Arkansas.  She enjoyed reading, crosswords and Sudoku puzzles. Her talents also included knitting, crocheting and embroidering.
