Joan Catherine Kennedy, our dear Mother, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, on August 6, 2022, in Paradise Valley, AZ. She was 91.
Joan was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October26, 1930. She attended Holy Angels Academy and graduated in 1948. She raised 7 children. She was an excellent homemaker, a gracious host and an avid golfer. She was a strong and loving mother that faced every challenge with dignity and grace. She will be greatly missed by her children Michael Kennedy of Paradise Valley, AZ, Tim (Ginger) Kennedy of Carrollton, TX, Kathie Jones of Ahwatukee, AZ, Anne (Chris) McKenna of Glendale, AZ, and Mary Jo Kennedy of Lompoc, CA. She will also be missed by her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, and her Nieces and Nephew.
She was welcomed into Heaven by her loving sons Thom and Kevin, her parents Marian and Sylvester Thom and Sister Gerry Johnson, and her many friends who went before her.
