Graveside Funeral Services for Joan C. Dyess, age 90, of Picayune, MS, who passed away Thursday, October 21, 2021, in the care of Picayune Health and Rehab, will be held Friday, October 22, 2021, at 10:00 am at McNeill Cemetery.Burial will be in McNeill Cemetery under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.Bro. Scott Downes will officiate the service.A native of McNeill, MS, she was retired from Movie Star Garment Factory.She was preceded in death by her parents, William Stanley Dunhurst and Henrietta Coleman Dunhurst; her son, Donald Eugene Carroll; and her brothers, Leon Dunhurst and Alonzo Dunhurst.Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Gloria Ann (Jerry Don) Glidewell; her grandchildren, Jeremy (Mindi) Glidewell, Joey (Amanda) Glidewell, Anita (Jimmy) Raziano, and Sabrina Magee; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; her brothers, Cleo Dunhurst and Charles “Dude” (Nancy) Dunhurst; and numerous nieces and nephews.
