Joan B. Webber Tucker, 75, Pendleton, went home to be with her Lord & Savior and the love of her life, Bill on September 3, 2007, at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana.
She was born March 13, 1932, in Ohio, and resided in the Anderson/Pendleton area for over 60 years. Joan worked at Stevens Furniture for over 18 years and had been an interior decorator for many years. She was a member of Pendleton Church of God. She was awarded for being the first woman to be the PTA President in Indiana. She was an avid gardener and was involved in Anderson Showcase Homes.
She is survived by her children: Jane Don Roudebush, William F. Tucker Jr, and Cathy Tucker. Grandchildren: DJ Michelle Barnett, Brad Stephanie Barnett, Annika Kemper-Barnes, Mayme Kemper, and Seth Tucker. Great Grandchildren: Connor Barnett, Camryn Barnett, Tucker Barnes, Stella Barnes, and Sydney Barnett. Foster Sister: Judy Kessling. Step-mother: Mary Webber. Dogs: Rose & Ruby Tucker.
She was preceded in death by her husband whom she married on January 21, 1950: William F. Tucker who passed away on December 12, 2002. Parents: Steward & Stella Tomey Webber.
