Joan Ann Esposito, 74, of Green Lane, previously of Perkasie, died Thurs. Sept. 27 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown. She was the loving wife of Nicola Esposito. Born in Phoenixville, Joan was the eldest daughter of the late Harry and Ruth Vasey who died in 2016. She attended Souderton High School and worked at the former Freed’s Glass Co. and Dudley’s Sports in the ‘70’s & early ‘80’s. She was a cook for the Pennridge School District in the high school through the ‘90’s and then worked for Accusort Systems and Moyer Chicks until retirement in 2008. Joan’s large extended family and hundreds of friends will always remember her incredible hospitality. She welcomed everyone into her home with open arms and provided many, many delicious meals, seasoned with love and acceptance. She counseled and comforted countless numbers of people with kindness, compassion, and love over a cup of coffee. Her loss is being deeply mourned by her husband, children, Edward, wife Mary of Sellersville, Nicola Jr., wife Heather of Perkasie, Christopher, wife Tara of Hatfield; grandchildren Danielle, Zachary, Kyle, Gavin, Bryson, Pierceson, Daylin, Egan and twins to be born soon; great grandson Jace; siblings and spouses, John & Fern Vasey of Telford, Dan & Cathy Vasey of Greenwood, DE, Pat Landes Dunbar of Providencia, Sharon and Rod Phillips of McKenzie, TN, Tim and Diane Vasey of Pennsburg.
