Jo-Rene Bryant, 81, of Centralia, IL, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2015, at her home in Centralia, Illinois.Jo-Rene was born November 24, 1933, in Henryetta, Oklahoma daughter of Charles Richards and Bertha (Goodson) Richards. Jo-Rene married Billie E. Bryant on May 8, 1954 at First Baptist Church in Centralia, IL and he survives her.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three nieces: Janna Deadmond and husband Vernon of Odin, Lisa Scharnhorst and husband Mike of Salem, Susie Ruhl and husband Rick of Irvington; one nephew: John Campbell and wife Dona of Sedalia, Missouri; many great-nieces and nephews.Jo-Rene was preceded in death by one brother: Dick Richards; two sisters: Charlene Campbell and Dixie Bryan; two nephews: Bruce Campbell and Ronnie Bryant.Jo-Rene was the bookkeeper for her and her husband’s business for many years.
She was a member of Central City Baptist Church. In her younger years Jo-Rene enjoyed camping out with friends and family and going water-skiing.
