Jo Anna Pratt, 62, of Knottsville, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at her residence. She was born in Grafton, March 6, 1954, a daughter of the late Robert and Ruth Bunner McCartney. Jo Anna is survived by her husband Michael B. Pratt, Knottsville: they were united in marriage, January 3, 1976.
Jo Anna graduated from GHS Class of 1972, and was very active with the local 4-H throughout her life. She owned and operated A to Z Hats and Tees, worked at BB&T Bank. She was a member of the Naomi Chapter # 12 O.E.S. Jo Anna was full of life, very caring and loving and would help anyone in need. Her positive energy and smile would light up a room. She enjoyed all the time and making memories with her family and friends. Jo Anna was the same courageous lady and always positive no matter how she felt during the last few years.
In addition to her husband, Jo Anna is survived by one daughter, Lacy Jo Pratt, Lucreita; one sister, Kay Toth and husband Frank, Grafton; one aunt, Ruth Breedlove, Grafton, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Uncle Bud Breedlove.
