Jo Ann Lucille (Lang) Coffman died July 28, 2014. Born November 26, 1929 in Columbus, Ohio to Lucille (Klarman) and Alphonse Lang. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years Edmund Dean Coffman (January 2, 2012). They met on a double date, but not with each other…..and they very quickly realized they had a future. Graduate of St. Mary of the Springs Academy and College. Member of St. Patrick Church. Fourth Generation family member of Lang Stone Company. Involved with numerous volunteer activities for her children through the years. She is survived by her children and grandchildren: Ann (Jim) Nash and son Andrew James, Tim (Brenda) Coffman and daughters Jamie Elizabeth (Justin ) Douglas and Madeleine Christine, Joan (Larry) First and daughters Lucy Lang and Katherine Coffman, Tom (Sue) Coffman, Jane (Ken) Wichman and son Kurt James, and Lori (Andy) Palmer and daughters Elise Marie and Abigail Elizabeth. Jo Ann was affectionately known as Oma to her grandchildren and she loved family time most of all! She leaves a robust legacy filled with duty to God and family, German work ethic, practical wisdom, affection for her Shetland Sheepdogs, and strong hugs and frequent kisses.
