Jo Ann Knodle, 79, of Freeport, died Sunday, September 28, 2008, at Stephenson Nursing Center.
Born September 7, 1929 in Freeport she was the daughter of Lester and Margaret (Harnish) Daughenbaugh. She married Jim Knodle and he preceded her in death.Jo Ann worked at National Can Corporation for 15 years and then Ingersoll Milling Machine both in Rockford.
She is survived by Pat Johnson of Freeport who Jo Ann loved like her daughter; her brother in-law, Ed (Carolyn) Griswold of Walnut Creek, California; and her nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; 1 son, Larry Griswold; 1 daughter, Patricia Griswold; 1 sister, Susan Flack; and 1 brother, Neil Daughenbaugh.
