JoAnn Garza, 65, passed away Feb. 25, 2021 in Pueblo, CO. She was born May 15, 1955 to Lucas and Mary Ortiviz. She is preceded in death by her father Lucas Ortiviz and sister Ruth Ortiviz. JoAnn was a Certified Rehabilitation Registered Nurse, Case Manager with Centura and most recently a documentation specialist. Her career as a nurse spanned over 46 years. She provided all her patients with the most compassionate care. JoAnn enjoyed quilting blankets and crafting in general, taking camping trips and was an avid Denver Broncos fan, but above all time spent with her family was her favorite. She leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Matthew Gomez; children, Arthur “Artie” Garza Jr. and Ruth Garza (Lupe); mother, Mary Ortiviz, siblings, Victor Ortiviz, Bob Ortiviz, and Loretta (Paul) Garcia; granddaughters, whom she absolutely adored, Melanie, Liyah, and Khloe; numerous other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
