Jo-An Phillips Mathews, age 80, of Trumbull, died May 11, 2006 in her home. Mrs. Mathews was born in East Cleveland, Ohio and was a longtime Trumbull resident. She was a member of the Trumbull Historical Society and the Trumbull Beautification Commission. Mrs. Mathews was predeceased by her husband, George Mathews and her sister, Virginia Woodard. Survivors include her son, Thomas R. Mathews of Trumbull, one niece, Bunny Matthews, one grandniece, and one grandnephew.
