Jimmy “T.J.” Boyd, 82 years old, beloved Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather was called to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 22, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He entered this world on May 8, 1939, born to Irene and Curtis Boyd. He was a native of Monticello, Mississippi and a resident of Baker, Louisiana. He was an Army Reserve from 1960 to 1962 in Fort Polk, Louisiana. T.J. was a truck driver of 30 years and a previous owner of T.J.’s Lounge. He loved LSU football and softball and New Orleans Saints. He loved fishing and playing pool, both of which he won numerous tournament trophies. He also loved hanging out with his many friends, above all he loved his family.
T.J. is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Boyd Dabadie and husband, David, and Roxane Boyd and husband, Matt Shelton; grandson, Kurt Dabadie; and great granddaughter, Kori Dabadie.
T.J. is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Syble Boyd; father, Curtis Boyd; mother, Irene Boyd; granddaughter, Kara Nicole Dabadie; and brother, Ramon Boyd.
